Like most places in the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic is quite warm year round! I recommend visiting during the dry season, which is from November – April. You will have warm, sunny days with bright blue skies!
The summers (May – October) are quite humid and rainy, but you will find lower prices and fewer crowds during these months.
Getting Around
Many resorts and accommodations will arrange an airport transfer for you! Taxis and Uber are also readily available.
Most tours will provide a bus or car transportation for you as well.
Travel Requirements
You will need a passport with at least six months of validity – regardless of how long you will be in the Dominican Republic for!
