time!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Peak season in The Bahamas is from December to April, when weather is warm and dry. This is usually the busiest time of the year, so hotels will fill up quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Hurricane season runs from June to November (although hurricanes can form year round here). It&#8217;s also not very walkable, so I highly recommend renting a car while you&#8217;re here. Most large car rental companies don&#8217;t exist here, so you&#8217;ll be booking through a local company. This means our efforts are even more important when visiting!<\/li><li>Swimming with the pigs is a HUGE thing to do here &#8211; but make sure you do it ethically. Pig Beach is located in Staniel Cay, and any other places advertised as &#8220;Pig Beach&#8221; are likely tourist ploys with questionable ethics. The pigs at Staniel Cay are well cared for and have regulations surrounding them &#8211; make sure to abide by these regulations when visiting. (For example, feeding them.)<\/li><li>Local, local, local!
